“Symphony of Kindness” Festival Receives Patronage of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Affairs

The First International Performing Arts Competition-Festival “Symphony of Kindness”, which will take place from June 23 to 30, 2025 in Yakutsk, has officially received the patronage of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Affairs. This decision highlights the festival’s recognition at both the federal and international levels, underscoring its importance in promoting humanistic values, cultural diversity, and education through the arts.

The Commission welcomed the festival’s initiative, noting its contribution to the development of international cultural cooperation, support for young talents, preservation of classical traditions, and the strengthening of intercultural understanding.

The festival aims to preserve and promote academic performance traditions, create opportunities for the professional growth of young musicians, and foster international artistic dialogue and cultural connections between Russian regions and countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

A key highlight of the festival will be the formation of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Far Eastern Federal District, composed of competition laureates. This orchestra will unite young performers from different regions, serve as a new platform for artistic expression, and will make its debut on June 29 during the festival’s final gala concert at the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The Organizing Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Affairs for its trust and support. The patronage not only elevates the festival’s public significance but also inspires further development of cultural initiatives aimed at education, enlightenment, and unity through music.
