The Gnessin Russian Academy of Music will organize the first stage of the “Symphony of Kindness” Competition-Festival for musicians from the Far East Federal District.

During the working visit of the Higher School of Music of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) delegation to Moscow, a meeting took place with Alexander Sergeyevich Ryzhinsky, Rector of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

The discussion focused on organizing the first stage of the International Competition-Festival “Symphony of Kindness,” which will be held at the Gnessin Academy.

This first stage will serve as a selection round for the main competition. Musicians registered in the Far East Federal District are eligible to participate. Alexander Ryzhinsky expressed the Academy’s full readiness to support and host this important phase. He noted that holding the first round at the Gnessin Academy will ensure a high competition standard and mark an important step in developing the musical culture of Russia’s Far East.

The parties discussed technical and organizational details, including the competition program and evaluation criteria. Special attention was given to making the stage accessible to participants from all DFO regions, enabling the discovery of talents and providing them a chance to showcase their skills at a high level.

Both sides expressed confidence that hosting the first stage at the Gnessin Academy will be a crucial milestone toward the successful implementation of the “Symphony of Kindness” Competition-Festival. The event is expected to strengthen cultural ties across Russian regions and highlight the Far East as an important center of musical and cultural creativity.
