The Higher School of Music of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and the Association of Music Educational Institutions of Russia will jointly host the “Symphony of Kindness” Competition-Festival.

During a working visit of the Higher School of Music delegation to Moscow, an important meeting was held to prepare for the first International Competition-Festival of Musical Performance “Symphony of Kindness.”

The meeting involved Nadezhda Mikhailovna Zaikova, Rector of the Higher School of Music RS (Y), and Galina Vasilyevna Mayorovskaya, President of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Honored Artist of Russia, and a member of the Competition’s Organizing Committee.

The main topics were organizational issues: competition regulations, evaluation criteria, jury composition, and event program. The parties discussed key points to ensure a high-level competition that attracts both Russian and international participants.

Galina Mayorovskaya emphasized the event’s importance for strengthening cultural ties between Russian regions and foreign countries. She expressed confidence that “Symphony of Kindness” will become a significant platform for creative exchange and discovering new talents in music. She noted that such events promote cultural diplomacy and deepen mutual understanding through art.

Nadezhda Zaikova also expressed confidence that cooperation with the Gnessin Academy will help organize a large-scale, vibrant event, positively impacting cultural dialogue and supporting young musical talents from the Far East Federal District. She highlighted that Gnessin’s involvement will elevate the competition’s level and promote musical culture in Russia.

As a result, both sides agreed to closely cooperate in preparing and conducting the competition, which will be an important event not only for the Far East but for all of Russia, uniting musicians from the Far East and Asia-Pacific countries under the banner of creativity, kindness, and cultural exchange.
