"Symphony of Kindness" Presents: Pyotr Lundstrem – Festival Ambassador

A series about the guest artists of the First International Performing Arts Competition-Festival "Symphony of Kindness" introduces musicians whose professional journeys and personal values reflect the core ideas of the project.

Symphony of Kindness” is a modern platform for professional dialogue, creative exchange, and support of young talents. It is also a competition that centers on the development of musical excellence and the promotion of outstanding performers.

The first feature in this series highlights the festival’s ambassador – violinist Pyotr Lundstrem. His name is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Russian performing school, while his voice also resonates in the current cultural landscape. A laureate of international competitions and graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, Pyotr is also a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation (8th convocation), where since 2023 he has worked on issues of culture and humanitarian initiatives.

Pyotr was born in Moscow into a family of professional musicians. His father, Leonid Lundstrem, a violinist and educator, founded the Creative Workshop that Pyotr has led since 2018. His mother, Maria Voskresenskaya, is a pianist and student of the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, Lev Naumov. His parents performed together in the ensemble “Lundstrem Trio,” touring across Russia and abroad, while also raising six children.

Pyotr’s interest in music emerged early. At just 12 years old, he performed with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, playing a duet with his father—one of his first public international appearances.

He began his studies at the Gnessin Central Music School, continued at the Moscow Conservatory under Evgeny Bushkov, and later honed his skills at the Queen Sofía College of Music in Madrid under Zakhar Bron.

Today, Pyotr Lundstrem performs on leading concert stages, collaborates with prominent conductors and orchestras, organizes cultural projects, gives charity concerts, and participates in humanitarian initiatives—even in the most challenging circumstances.

His involvement in the Symphony of Kindness adds weight and depth to the festival. It is not merely a performance by a renowned musician, but a statement of support for a project built on values of continuity, sincerity, and professional growth.
