The Symphony Orchestra of the Higher School of Music RS (Y) Graced the Closing Ceremony of the Anniversary Festival “Muus Ustar”

On Saturday, March 22, the annual youth festival “Muus Ustar” concluded, celebrating its milestone fifth season this year. Organized with the support of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the festival has for five consecutive years brought together young talents of the republic, providing them with a platform to realize bold ideas and ambitious projects.

Special attention at the festival’s closing was given to the performance by the Symphony Orchestra of the Higher School of Music RS (Y). Under the direction of Pavel Andreevich Vaskovsky, Associate Professor of the Department of Concert Wind and Percussion Instruments and Artistic Director of the State Opera and Ballet Theater of RS (Y), the orchestra presented a unique program that became the true highlight of the evening.

The festival’s final show, held at the Triumph Sports Complex, gathered more than 500 artists from across the republic, including past winners of the “Muus Ustar” creative competitions. During the event, winning districts were announced in the categories “Best Youth District” and “Best Arctic Youth District.”

“Muus Ustar” has already become one of the key events in the Far Eastern Federal District aimed at identifying and supporting young talents across 12 different fields. This year, the festival program included not only creative performances but also educational activities, which started at 1:00 PM.

The final show was broadcast live on the online studio of NVK “Sakha,” allowing viewers from all over the republic and beyond to take part in this large-scale event.

The Symphony Orchestra of the Higher School of Music RS (Y), through its performance, emphasized the high cultural level of the festival, confirming “Muus Ustar” as a platform not only for youth initiatives but also for professional art.

Festival organizers have already announced that in 2026, “Muus Ustar” will continue its mission to support the new generation, uniting talents and resources to achieve ambitious goals.
