At the grand opening of the First International Competition-Festival of Musical Performance "Symphony of Goodness," Albina Mikhailovna Kychkina will take part — an outstanding opera singer with a rare coloratura soprano, one of the brightest representatives of vocal art in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
She graduated from the Yakut Music College in solo singing under the guidance of the first professional Yakut singer, Honored Artist of the RSFSR and YASSR A.P. Lytkina. She then continued her studies at the Ural State Conservatory named after M. Mussorgsky, in the class of Professor L.E. Krasnopolskaya, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. In 1988, she completed an internship at the same conservatory.
Albina Mikhailovna honed her skills through international internships: in the USA (1991–1992, invited by the R. Ponseille Foundation), Italy (1995, with R. Lippi), and Moscow (1997, with R. Scotto).
She is a laureate and participant of prestigious vocal competitions:
Her operatic repertoire includes leading roles performed in the original language. In 1993, she became the first to perform the role of Tuyaarimy Kuo in the opera "Nyurgun Bootur," a landmark event in the history of Yakut musical theater.
